Radiotherapist Switzerland, Hospital in the Alps, 05-01-2023

After working in the NHS, UK, for the last 3 years I felt that I was ready for a change. I have always been interested in working abroad since I first started my training. After looking into multiple different countries I was struggling to decide where it was we would like to end up. After weeks of searching the internet I came across IRIS medical employment. A company used to help place medical professionals in Switzerland- it felt too good to be true!

I sent my CV off and did not expect to hear back. To my pleasure, Frans Dames got in contact with me within a matter of days. From day 1 Frans was always available to chat with whether it be by phone, email or text. I had so many questions that he was always happy to answer as moving to another country for work is such a big decision. He assisted me with helping to format my CV to helping me look for work for my partner. 

For a few months there were no jobs or only jobs that required German. However Frans didn’t lose hope and persisted in trying to find me a job in Switzerland. Much to my delight after only a short few months he had arranged me an interview in an amazing city in the alps. I couldn’t believe my luck!

He was able to assist me on visiting the city prior to accepting the job. He was available by message at any point and helped me from booking correct flights to helping me get the right train there.

I am now in my first week of work and feel very grateful that I met Frans, without him I would not have managed to get this far! 

I know If I have any problems he will be there to assist!
